Piłsudskiego 1 is a tenement house located in the centre of Cracow. A residential and commercial building located at the intersection of Piłsudskiego and Straszewskiego Streets in the vicinity of the Academy of Theatre Arts and Jagiellonian University. The building acquired its current form in 2017. Its contemporary and simple yet minimalist form is a backdrop to the detail-rich architecture of the neighbouring buildings. It is the first newly constructed building located so close to Krakow's Main Square after 1989. In addition, it closes the frontage of Piłsudskiego Street. The 7-storey building has 2,000 sq.m., which accommodates 20 flats. The ground floor of the building provides space for commercial premises, which currently house restaurants.
